I just posted another new teaser for part 02 of my first two-part series, focusing on the Marvel Annuals of the 1960s on the official Tales From My Spinner Rack! YouTube Channel! Summer was a special time to be a comic book reader, as both Marvel and DC published larger, square-bound issues that cost a whole quarter. But Marvel’s were superior in that they featured—at least from 1962 through 1968—brand new stories and other special material, while DC just offered reprints. These are some of the most beloved comic books of my youth, filled with special memories.
Part 02 of Marvel Annuals 1962-1965 will debut on July 5th, and it’s filled with covers, interior pages and art, and a nostalgic look back at this series of wonderful Silver Age bonus books, something that made each summer a little more special if you were a devoted Marvel Comics fan like me.
