I don’t go out at night a lot these days, but here’s a shot from a recent walk home after a nighttime ferry ride. This is my neighborhood, facing the incredible San Diego skyline, and some nights—like this one—the atmospheric conditions and the lights of the city combine to make something really magical, like some kind of storybook kingdom.
