Last fall, I took a wonderful trip to England, which included the lovely city of York. Believe it or not, this was the view from my hotel window of Clifford’s Tower, part of York Castle and it was taken on the first day I was there. York is an incredible maze of winding cobblestone streets filled with great shops and restaurants and I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay there. The hotel was the Hilton York on (appropriately) Tower Street, and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Great restaurant downstairs, too!
