When I worked for Comic-Con, I would regularly post this little graphic I made from a photo I took behind the San Diego Convention Center. This year will mark the first time I’ve gone to a “real” Comic-Con International: San Diego (its proper name) as an attendee since 1997, 25 years ago. I’m looking forward to this show, praying to God I don’t catch Covid at it, and just being a regular, good, ol’ attendee once again … searching through long boxes, seeing some panels, meeting up with old friends, and maybe having an over-priced soft pretzel that has way too much salt on it. It’s all part of the experience.
