We’re back with our first all-new, full-length Tales From My Spinner Rack! video of 2024. “My Favorite 1960s Superman Stories” chronicles my love of four issues of Superman from the Silver Age, Mort Weisinger-edited era of the Man of Steel: #137 (“The Two Faces of Superman!”), #149 (“The Death of Superman!”), #156 (“The Last Days of Superman!”), and #162 (“The Amazing Story of Superman-Red and Superman-Blue!”), and yes, all four of those titles deserve their comic book cliche exclamation points.
I grew up on these stories and continue to love them now into my almost-dotage (I kid … I hope!). This new video is based on my “Superman Month” posts I did here on this very blog back in May and June of last year, in honor of the 85th anniversary of the Man of Steel.
