Old and New …

I like the juxtaposition of the aging Zoetrope building with the sleek modernism of the TransAmerica Tower (or whatever it’s called these days). I think it contributes to the beauty of San Francisco and this image elicits many fond memories of visiting that city, both for work (WonderCon and APE, the Alternative Press Expo), and pleasure. The last time I visited was 2019, and I fear it was just that … the last time. A lot of cities I used to love going to–including San Francisco–now feel lost to me on a number of different levels.
