This photo is from a trip to San Francisco and was taken near the Golden Gate Bridge, on a site that offered a huge vista of that magnificent structure (ironically not shown here).
Those pay binocular thingies that you find in tourist areas always fascinate me and they always signify travel to me. I have a trip coming up, a big one, and I really hope to be able to take it this time, since I had to cancel it the past two years. I can’t travel as much as I’d like in retirement, so this is a big one for me, although one that probably won’t include pay binoculars.
