This row of colorful surfboards was found behind the Hotel del Coronado, in one of their newer sections. I’m not sure what exactly it’s called, but the hotel has been adding a lot of new buildings and additional rooms to their already-impressive layout. I love the idea of an old-fashioned resort hotel, even if some of their new additions are decidedly modern. If I have a bucket list (and I hate that term), a stay at the Hotel del—for at least one night, preferably around Christmas—is definitely on it. However, I’d rather just photograph this array of boards rather than ride the waves. No “cowabunga, dude!” for me, thank you very much.
