Sometimes I walk out my back door and my breath is taken away. This shot across San Diego Bay happened just the other day, and that night we had a steady rain with thunder and lightning, a very rare occurrence in San Diego. I am so struck at times at the natural beauty of where I live and how after all this time it still impacts me.
