Like pretty much everyone else, I miss travel. My last trip was in November 2019, which marked my sixth in that year alone, by far the most I’ve ever traveled in any one year. I visited Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, New York, and the UK, with stays in both Harrogate and London.
I’m about to embark on another trip next month. I call it my “training wheels” trip, just a couple of nights in Seattle, so I can get back on the travel horse (or plane), so to speak, and stay in a hotel again. I have a longer trip planned for the fall, but we’ll see if I’ll be able to pull that one off. In the meantime, I can’t wait to be on a plane like this one, zooming up into the skies over San Diego, reaching that escape velocity for another place.
