Back home again and the familiar sight of the Coronado Bridge and a bicycle rider, framed between palm trees. This area is known as Tidelands Park, and besides this amazing view of the bridge, it also features some huge grassy areas, space to picnic and barbecue, a beach, and a sort-of make-shift marina, with a number of boats moored out in the bay, reachable by dingy. It’s part of one of my walks, which sometimes takes me under the Coronado Bridge (celebrating it’s 50th anniversary this year), depending on how energetic I am. (Sadly, not much lately.)
