We ease into the New Year with this lovely shot of my backyard, facing due east. I’m very lucky to have this as my view every day, and almost every day, that view is stunning. But sometimes, it’s incredible. This was one of those days, as the sun started to set and two random walkers came strolling up the path with San Diego Bay and the city as their backdrop.
