I had a great time on Tuesday night at my third annual appearance (it shall soon be declared an official holiday) with the fine folk at the SDCC Unofficial Blog. Special thanks to Kerry, James, and Erin for their insightful questions and nodding sagely as I went off on tangent after tangent, largely ignoring said insightful questions until something in my brain said, “Hey, there was a question here, dumbass … answer it!” I always enjoy talking to them and was particularly pleased that they asked me about my former boss, Fae Desmond, who is retiring at this year’s Comic-Con after—well, either close to or more than—50 years with the organization, as volunteer, general manager, and executive director. She does not get enough credit for everything she did for Comic-Con, in my book and that’s why I wrote this post when her retirement was announced. Oh, and we also discussed my Tales From My Spinner Rack! YouTube Channel and I thank them for that, because it’s gained a few new followers since my Tuesday night appearance!
Anyway, here it is, archived forever on YouTube for all to see for eternity, because the internet never ends.
There’s a podcast version if you’re shy and just want to listen and not watch me talk (it’s okay, I get it) … here’s the link. Scroll down below the video and pick the podcast host of your choice!
