Tales From My Spinner Rack LIVE! returns to WonderCon with the world premiere of Episode 7: MARVEL MONSTER MADNESS! This brand new episode travels back to the late 1950s to explore the giant monster characters created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee (with help from Larry Lieber, Dick Ayers, Steve Ditko, and Don Heck), in the pages of Strange Tales, Journey Into Mystery, Tales of Suspense, Tales to Astonish, and Amazing Adventures/Amazing Adult Fantasy. We’ll take an A to Z look at some of these amazing creatures, published over a three-year period, from mid-1958 until late 1961, when the Marvel superheroes began. It’s another fun-filled, nostalgic look back at great comic books from the Silver Age of Comics!
Tales From My Spinner Rack LIVE! will be presented THIS SATURDAY, MARCH 30th, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM in ROOM 209! The first 100 attendees (yes, I’m being wildly optimistic!) will receive FREE promotional postcards, buttons, and magnets!
