TFMSR #037: “December 1965” Now Available on YouTube! …

We’re back on the world-famous Official Tales From My Spinner Rack! YouTube Channel with our first, all-new video, one that isn’t based on a convention presentation that I did. If you’ve been reading the three-part “December 1965” saga here over the past month, you’ll be (hopefully) happy to see a video devoted to the series. Episode 04 chronicles my “holy quest” to get all 15 Marvel comics cover-dated for December 1965, with a look at each individual book and the creators behind them. I also talk about the beginning of Marvel’s Bullpen Bulletins page, and Stan Lee’s “Marvel Pop Art Productions” name-change fiasco. Oh, and who the heck is Mike Marvel? (Discerning 1960s Marvel fans know the answer!)

But why talk about it when you can watch it? Here it is, in all it’s glory! You can also watch it full-screen on YouTube (click on the video below). It’s about 34 minutes (and change) long, so get yourself a nice beverage, maybe a snack or two, and settle in. And yep … I make a few flubs, but it’s all just part of my charm, right?

Tales From My Spinner Rack Episode 04: December 1965

Remember, If you subscribe to Tales From My Spinner Rack! on YouTube, you’ll get to see the videos I post a day or so in advance of the official announcement here on my blog … so go ahead and click that video above and travel over to YouTube and subscribe. Leave a comment, too … but be nice

Next time: Tales From My Spinner Rack! will return in 2024 with new posts, new videos (maybe even some based on old posts!), and hopefully at least a couple more convention appearances. Stay tuned for announcements!
