My fall 2018 trip to the United Kingdom included a few days in Brighton. I was brought up visiting Atlantic City in the summer, so I’m always curious about beach resort towns, and I had heard and read a lot about Brighton. It’s still a little bit dodgy in parts, but I found the pebble beach and the vibrant arts scene to be absolutely amazing. It took me most of the day by train to get there (I had to come back to London from Wales, and then go London to Brighton, which is a trip that takes only a little over an hour), so I was tired and cranky when I got there, but this beautiful sunset was one of the first things I saw, so that made everything better.
